REFLECTING ON OUR FISHING

As we reflect on all the great moments in our fishing together, it takes us back to when we were too young to fish alone and would go with Grandpa, Dad or my uncle on weekends or weekday evenings. We remember as kids fishing for and catching Bluegills, Crappie, Bass, Catfish and even Carp were all good and fun to catch. And the added reward was the fish fry we would have with family.
As we grew older we started fishing more with friends, venturing out more or further and targeted most all fish species. We recall fishing with close friends, the good times we had and the great fish we caught together.
Now, much older, the greatest moments in fishing for us are those treasured times with our extended family and friends with the most cherished moment being the time Linda & I spend together as fishing partners.
While reflecting, we are reminded of all the kids fishing clinics we do each year while helping pass on the joy of fishing by teaching hundreds of kids and the trill they get from catching fish and winning prizes. As a writer, we get a chance to meet some of top pros in the sport of fishing, while other great times in this sport of fishing is all the sharing with all those who visit our website for tips, fishing reports, events, news or info and more.

Last month we posted a photo on page 106 of a big Canadian Northern Pike and the anglers name was incorrectly stated as Andy Burt. It was actually his brother Billy Burt who caught the fish and was pictured, sorry Billy. I am sure we will see more of their fish next year.
